Online Booking Terms & Conditions

We kindly request that you submit your credit card details to secure your booking with us.

If you choose to cancel or rearrange your booking, you must inform us by email no later than 11:00 on the day of your booking using: waterfrontbistroipswich@gmail.com.

Please be aware that we may give your table away if you arrive more than 30 minutes after your reservation time.

In the event of a late cancellation, reduction in numbers or ‘no-show’ The Waterfront Restaurant reserves the right to charge £10 per person to your card.

By agreeing to our T&C’s you give The Waterfront Restaurant the right to make this charge if necessary.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy

Any bookings of 8 people or more will be required to pay a deposit of £10 per head in order to secure the booking. This will be refundable up to 11:00 on the date of your booking.

Any cancellations after this time will lose their deposit and any cancellations not declared before arrival will be charged for the entire meal if a pre-order has been supplied.

Children

Children of all ages are welcome during lunchtime hours on any given day however we ask that you do not bring any children under the age of 10 during evening service. We strive to provide a safe and harmonious environment for all our patrons and find that a busy evening is not suited to young children.

Whilst we do not have a specific Children’s menu, during lunchtime service we would be happy to provide a smaller portion of some of our main dishes at a reduced price. We believe in teaching children about good healthy food and like to encourage them to try new things.

Payment Policy

With group bookings of 8 people or more who intend to pay separately, we require all individual payments to be sorted by the organiser and paid in one transaction. We suggest that you ask your guests to bring cash to help with this process. Please remember there will be a 10% service charge added to the bill for tables of 8 or more.
